Group Classes

Most of our classes are 4 weeks series classes. The series begins around the first week of the month and progresses for 4 weeks. The cost of each class is $40 for the series paid at the first class. Please call to reserve your spot in a class as space is limited in some classes.

Once you progress past the beginner series and register for an intermediate or advanced class you may come back and take the beginner classs for FREE to both keep your skills sharp and help to encourage others.

No refunds will be given for missed classes. However if you know ahead of time that you will miss a scheduled class your instructor will be happy to pro-rate the series.

Private Lessons

1/2 Hour (25 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes for scheduling) for $30

1 Hour (55 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes for scheduling for $60

Students must call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Other than for medical emergencies, lessons cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full rate.

Semi-Private Lessons

Have a few friends interested in dancing?

Can't make a group class because of a schedule conflict?

Want to take a class with only your friends?

Semi-Private Lessons start with 4 people.Each additional person beyond 4 raises the total cost of the lesson by $5 (i.e., 5 people = $65, 6 people = $70, etc.)

Teen Private Lessons

Because we want to promote dancing to young poeple we teach teens (under 21) for a discounted rate.

1/2 Hour (25 minutes of instruction and 5 minutes for scheduling) for $23

1 Hour (50 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes for scheduling for $45

Studio Dances

Each Thursday night we have a West Coast Swing dance from 8-9:30

Each month we host a Salsa dance as well as a Country dance.

The cost of most studio dances is only$5

Practice Time

Our floor is available to practice anytime at $10 per UNINTERRUPTED practice session. Practicing students may use their own music so long as there are no teachers using music for a private lesson. We require that proper dance shoes, in good repair, be worn at all times.

Studio Rental

Dance Louisville is available for rental for private functions at very resonable prices. Need a place to host a party or function? We have tables and seating for over 100 people. Maybe we can help out please call 377-4859 and ask for Brian.

General Rules

Classes and lessons will begin and end promptly at the scheduled time.

Please arrive 10 minutes in advance to make sure that you are ready to begin on time.
Shoes with nonsticky rubber soles are recommended. Dance shoes are best, but not required.

Ladies please wear shoes that do not fall off your feet. Flip flops are not very good for dancing.
Please keep all food and beverages away from the dance floor as much as possible.
